A lady who talks about weird fish and other fascinating ocean creatures, rather than a weird lady!
Gloria Barnett is a passionate and well-informed champion of marine conservation. She is an ocean adventurer, scuba diver, film maker and scientist, and an educator who writes books for children, young and old. Her exciting stories are aimed at helping us to understand the issues that threaten all of us, as we depend on an unpolluted ocean environment.
The talk will cover:
- Fascinating facts about the ocean environment and what lives there, illustrated with Gloria’s own photos
- Why we need to keep the ocean environment healthy
- How you can help with education/environment projects for adults and young people
There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
