The Talk
EndPlasticSoup is the worldwide task force for Rotary to end plastic pollution, supported by over 1,000 Rotary and Rotaract Clubs in 67 countries.
Their motto is Start today, Step by step, Together.
Gert-Jan will speak about their approach: Awareness, Action and Alliances.
Plastic pollution impacts our health and disrupts all life, so we should increase awareness and make changes, for example: refuse single-use packaging, reduce, reuse, share and borrow.
He will give examples of EndPlasticSoup’s: actions and projects worldwide. They have found that the fight against plastic pollution unites and enables collaboration across generations, cultures and countries.
Think globally, act locally
